The key objective is to implement and execute service model across all our functions and markets consistently. - Handle all master data related requests and queries across business functions
- Perform validation and entry of master data as defined in the standard operating procedures
- Perform data cleansing activities to ensure master data maintained is up to date
- Identify any data related issues or control gaps in the processes and raise the same to the MDM lead/manager
- Support functional teams with ad-hoc and periodic reporting requirements related to master data
- Ensure master data in all systems is consistent; to facilitate ease in data remediation and integration initiatives
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and automation projects directed towards process improvement
- To perform testing for structured data interface into EDI system for new vendors
- Work closely with vendors to support on reasons for rejections and provide solutions
- Work closely with internal teams to enable invoice flow post EDI system
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
- Understands business needs and in depth understanding of Tesco processes
- Builds on Tesco processes and knowledge by applying CI tools and techniques
- Responsible for completing tasks and transactions within agreed metrics
- Solves problems by analyzing solution alternatives
