Job Description

Job Summary:
Build deliver and sustain a world-class Risk & Compliance COE for Tesco Business Services in accordance with the industry benchmarks and global best practices. COE should reflect a matured scalable operating model which leverages state of art automation and analytics capabilities to deliver a strong platform for the effective performance of risk & compliance services at different TBS Sites. Role must demonstrate strong ownership and accountability deep risk & compliance domain expertise leadership & stakeholder management skills understanding of business needs and priorities and a drive to excel & lead.

Role:
- Shape central R&C team into a world class R&C COE
- Learn reflect and embed global R&C COE best practices frameworks and standards
- Enable and drive data led discussion and decision making
- Govern and report risk & compliance programme performance via well defined KPIs
- Act as an SME and provide guidance onto controls and best practices for risk & compliance areas of ERM Business Resilience Privacy Bribery & Fraud
- Drive ongoing initiatives to enhance R&C Programme performance outcomes and impacts
- Own strategic R&C initiatives and ensure they are successfully delivered as per the plan
- Lead inspire and drive team towards high performance
- Drive strong engagement with internal and functional stakeholders across the sites
- Build sustainable partnership with second line teams to support R&C agenda & objectives
- Manage group R&C stakeholders forums and relationships
- Embed and drive CI culture within the team
- Ensure Central and site R&C team objectives are closely governed tracked reported and any flags/next steps actioned out
- Align with organizational MI23 plans and priorities and enabling a strong digital roadmap for the team

- Diagnose and recommends solutions to complex operational challenges, using specialist knowledge and operational expertise to achieve operational excellence 
- Provides inputs that impact the functions plans, policies, influences the budget and resources in their scope
