The Corporate Communications team provides solutions for Tesco’s mission-critical communications needs. We help the organisation build and enhance their leadership position achieve tangible returns by managing reputation and enable Tesco Bengaluru colleagues and stakeholders to be effective communicators and brand ambassadors through effective communication using multiple techniques and channels.

Good understanding of communication content writing skills editing and copywriting skills make a strong communications specialist. Experience in corporate communications and project management will be a plus. Your enthusiasm and positive attitude will help you gain the trust of colleagues and external parties alike.

Job Objectives:

Internal Communications Content writing & editing content curation for Social media channels corporate website intranet and other important channels.

We are looking for a person to join the Corporate Communications team at Tesco Bengaluru as a full time resource and help further the impact we are making as specialists and coaches for internal and external stakeholders.

The candidate should have a good knowledge of conceptualising developing and executing large and small format internal communication programmes for the company. An enthusiastic candidate to communicate collaborate across functions and should consistently and actively support communications team.

We’re looking for a person with good content writing/editing planning & execution abilities. The person must be able to identify and pursue new opportunities and ensure the effective efficient delivery of communications services and products to our stakeholders.

Job Summary - Expectations

Expectations:
•Plan edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums such as intranet regular email bulletin and various internal campaigns. You may also be required to work on the layout of content
•Deliver presentations at organisation event such as company’s quarterly results
•Draft messages or scripts from senior leadership team for presentation to colleagues in written or spoken form
•Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different functions of the organization
•Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages
•Develop support and execute campaigns - including message development social media content creation communication on internal platforms and media outreach

•To plan and lead company internal communication initiatives
•Own the company weekly newsletter – content and publishing
•Communicate the brand internally through storytelling
•Have a good idea of social media and how it links with internal communications
•Play the role of a content steward and curator. Eye to detail is very important
•You must be a good team player you’ll be collaborating with designers web developers and other stake holders to create internal communications material

The ideal candidate must be:
•A great planner and demonstrate abilities to deliver high quality outcomes
•Own communications end to end and be excellent at execution have an eye for measurement
•Focused on delivering a quality brand experience
•Confident and be able to work in a consensus led environment
•Experience in designing content strategy is a plus
•Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset
•Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills

Desired qualification - A post graduate in journalism or mass communication is preferred.

Desired experience - •3-5 years in an internal communications with social and digital media management experience. Candidates with corporate communication background will be given a preference.

•Good understanding of writing editing and reviewing content. Experience in stakeholder management leadership communications content curation for social channels and business leaders for thought leadership facilitation and presentation expertise is important
