Job Description

Territory is looking for an individual experienced in selling consulting and creative design services who is a systems thinker and thrives on strategy, creativity, and innovation to be our Account Director. Our ideal candidate excels in strategy, innovation, design thinking, and business transformation. You must be comfortable selling these concepts to a potential client. The role of Account Director will entail qualifying and closing business through relationship building. You will be a key player and contribute to the overall success of Territory.

Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with the Territory’s business development partners and to develop and qualify leads, conduct email and phone prospecting, set up appointments, prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, close deals

  • Responsible for working with sales leadership for planning, designing, and deploying sales strategies aimed at improving sales productivity focused on sales process standardization, digital tool adoption, sales reporting (pipeline, performance).

  • Review and further develop systems for management of company marketing, sales promotional templates and materials.

  • Produce incremental revenue through outbound sales calls

  • Effectively manage client relationships that ensure continued growth in customer engagement

  • Align sales efforts with strategic corporate goals

  • Offer end-to-end solutions including process analysis and design, requirements planning, business case development, analytics support, and administration support

  • Build long-term client relationships resulting in repeat business within large accounts

  • Use company CRM to maintain detailed tracking, reporting, and management of sales pipeline

We are committed to success through collaboration, innovation, and engagement.  Compensation consists of base salary, plus incentive compensation, and health and PTO benefits.  OTE range is $125k to $150k, based on experience and performance.  

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years direct experience selling consulting or creative services

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in communications or business - an MBA is a big plus

  • At least 10 years of business development & professional services experience

  • Bring a strong set of existing and trusted client relationships to the position

  • Demonstrable track record in sales account management with strong customer focus and proven ability to explore and find new opportunities with assigned accounts 

  • Open-minded, enthusiastic, and adaptable, with a sense of urgency in all activities relating to client needs

  • Business thinker with strategic skills and capacity to understanding business design thinking practice

  • Must be comfortable in and demonstrate sales success in ambiguity and unstructured client solutions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and effective presentation and storytelling capabilities
