Chinese speaking Logistics Operations Clerks x 2 (Immediate Starts)
My client are a leading global freight forwarder who are growing rapidly and are seeking two Logistics Operations Service clerk’s to join the Operations team. The role interfaces with both internal and external stakeholders and serves as a key function within the business.
Daily duties include:
·Supplying first class customer service to all clients and liaising with internal stakeholders
·Ensuring all documents are received in order to process customs clearance
·Assist with the preparation of quotes as required
·Costing jobs using in-house ERP software
·Pre Alerts and providing timely updates to customers
·Assisting with Invoicing and invoice queries
·Tracking and monitoring shipments
·Processing and following up rate quotations
·Ensuring accurate record keeping and auditing of records.
You must:
·Have proven experience within the freight forwarding industry;
·Have Chinese speaking ability and be fluent in Mandarin;
·You will have knowledge and experience of Customers clearing processes and be familiar with all required documentation;
·Have proven experience within a Logistics customer service role;
·Good telephone manner & PC skills;
·The ability to work with inhouse ERP/CRM systems;
·Be a self-starter, with the ability to learn quickly and apply positive learning;
·Must be Proactive / Driven and be work focused.
This is an office based role, working Monday to Friday (40 hour working week), with a one hour lunch break. The role offers an immediate start.
