We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial designer to join our Product Development Team, reporting directly to the Head of Product Development. This role is key to help us integrate industrial design methodology and human centred design into our product development process.

As the Industrial Design Manager, you will be working across Temperzone’s entire product portfolio. You will play a crucial role in creating products with class leading useability features that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and marketing professionals etc. to translate concepts into tangible designs. Your ability to balance, usability, ergonomics, and technical feasibility will be essential in creating innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.

You will be expected to map the user’s journey and interactions with our products to deeply understand the user’s needs. So, you can influence the design of our products key touch points. While you collaborate across the team to ensure the integration of design elements with technical specifications and design intent.

To be successful in this role you will have had substantial experience working as an industrial designer preferably in the HVAC or related construction industry. You should have experience leading user centred research. Create concept sketches, renderings, and 3D models etc. to visualize product ideas and communicate design intent.

A proven ability to work collaboratively across a large fast paced team is crucial. You should be comfortable operating at all levels of the organisation leading design reviews and product strategy reviews with regular engagement with the Executive team.
