Job Description
As the Story Maker Success Manager on Team Tellwell, you will lead our approach to and the execution of communication with our Story Makers (aka clients) that is not directly related to getting a project done. The essence of this role is to provide top-notch communication and customer service to our Story Makers, which is the foundation for a relationship built on trust, shared expectations, and consistent communication. We have a saying at Tellwell: "If it wasn't communicated, it didn't happen." It's the Story Maker Success Manager's role to communicate regularly with Story Makers, ensuring that we are building and maintaining strong relationships with them. This role is part of the account and project management team. Specifically,
You’ll support the project management team to onboard new clients and set up the creative teams for success as the project kicks off.
You’ll communicate regularly with Story Makers throughout the year so that we are engaging them in the Engage and Remind parts of Tellwell’s communication funnel.
You’ll support business development for on-going and potential Story Makers. This means initiating and/or participating in the proposal creation process and project managing deals through our pipeline.
You’ll also be participating in community events to represent Tellwell and make connections in the community to grow relationships with current and potential clients and partners.
You’ll strategically engage with clients based on previous projects to time proposals with their budget cycles and with consideration for the budgets they have available.
You’ll lead the process to measure effectiveness of projects, campaigns, and pieces based on the Story Maker goals and provide reporting and/or analytics.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for in a Story Maker Success Manager:
5+ years of customer service experience or client-facing experience where you managed relationships with multiple stakeholders or interdisciplinary teams
Proven ability to effectively communicate with folks beyond your immediate team, including vendors and clients
Demonstrated facilitation skills to lead meetings with strategies to generate ideas, make decisions, and achieve clarity
Proactive approach to organizing tasks by taking action to get them done effectively
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and participate actively in the community
Ability to develop and follow processes and communicate so that others understand and follow them, too
Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and tactics
Strong data, metrics, and analysis skills that translate into reporting on KPIs or ROI in a way that is understandable to clients
Passion for improving collaboration among Tellwell and Story Makers
Really freakin' loves people. This role is an essential conduit between Team Tellwell and Story Makers to continuously build and strengthen relationships
Work from our HQ in Fargo, ND with opportunity for a hybrid schedule as negotiated with your manager

Additional Information
Salary Range:
$55,000 - $65,000 dependent on experience plus bonuses
