Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing:What’s neat about this position is that you’ll be working ON Tellwell instead of directly with our clients. The ultimate goal is to practice what we preach - we know that educating and engaging our clients on the work we do and the processes we have leads to new clients and a better educated client. So, we want to share an inside look at Tellwell - you’ll help us share that inside look to the community, our clients, and potential clients. 

  • Maintaining Tellwell’s website, social media, and blog

  • Capture our team’s culture by creating photo and video content and sharing on social and web. 

  • Creating a content calendar that aligns with Tellwell goals

  • Creating content (writing, design, video, ebooks) that showcases our team’s subject area expertise

    • If we’re creating a piece on what it’s like to create a video with Tellwell, you’d interview Duncan to get the video team’s perspective and then cross that with Mark or Mindy’s project management perspective - bring both together with some stellar examples. 

  • Deliver and promote that content through social, email, and print

  • Write, promote, and get hyped on Tellwell’s portfolio pieces

  • Monitor, manage, and respond to Tellwell’s inbound forms

  • Support in the creation of sales collateral

  • Work with project management and creative teams to make sure our proposals align with process

  • Rep Tellwell in the community

  • Contribute to creative meetings and overall team culture passionately

  • Make our team even better and have fun doing it

Qualifications

About You:

  • You WANT to learn and be a ‘Do Everything marketer’  – If needed, you could be a one-person powerhouse of marketing (luckily, you’ll have a team to support you)

  • You're what Alexis Rose from Schitt's Creek would call a "brand invigorator". Past motel publicist experience is a plus.

  • Tellwell’s BIGGEST cheerleader - In order to promote Tellwell, you’re ready to jump in with both feet. From team happy hours to volunteer opportunities, to helping plan our parties - you’re all in. And it’s not unlikely to see you in Tellwell gear out in the wild because you’re just so darn excited to tell the world about Tellwell. 

  • Creative Contributor – We don’t work in silos; our designers work together with our video producers, writers, account managers, and web guy to create the best client and team experience possible. There are no hand-offs around here.

  • Problem-Solving Power Player – We solve creative problems here on a daily basis and the ability to provide solutions to any and all creative challenges is greatly valued!

  • Multi-tasking Maniac – We may not be in the circus but we are all expert jugglers. Being capable of juggling multiple projects to keep them moving forward is part of any creative role and this role requires a creative individual that can juggle flaming batons!

 

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or a related field preferred

  • Brilliant writing + interviewing skills

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a professional’ish setting

  • Basic design skills including Indesign and Photoshop

  • A solid online portfolio demonstrating and clearly indicating the range of your design skills, styles, and expertly executed interactive work experience

 

Additional Information

Added Bonus:

  • Podcasting Experience 

  • Familiarity with video and editing

  • Experience with web design, knowledge of WordPress

  • Experience with Asana and/or Everhour
