We’re a small team with fun clients, big vision, and huge aspirations. We’re looking for an Office Mom or Dad (or responsible sibling) — someone with a curiosity of people, a keen sense of caretaking, and a solid day to day cook to energize and nourish our growing team.

Job Description

We are looking for an office assistant and really an office mom/dad/sibling to join our operations team and nourish our whole darn team. 

20-25 Hours/week at our Downtown Fargo offices. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists the Chief team with ad hoc requests such as coordinating meetings, booking travel, sending mail, researching HR/finance needs, and helping with personal matters such as making sure Kevin (the office pup) get’s a walk

  • Purchases office supplies and equipment when needed

  • Tracks team’s Core-Norm Cards

  • Support writing and design teams in proofreading

  • Celebrates our client’s birthdays/anniversaries/etc. With cards and gifts

  • Support the Project Management team in executing our Tellwell Lifecycle

  • Prep breakfast 3ish days per week - from a continental breakfast to an eggbake - goal is to nourish and energize our team

  • Prep lunch 3ish days per week and support our traveling teams with sack lunches when on the road. Think soups, taco Tuesdays, hot dishes, and other homemade dishes - we love to enjoy our team’s company and breaking bread together is just one of the ways we do that. You’ll be the mom/dad/sibling that brings this team together for meals. 

  • Keep the fridge and snack cupboard stocked and supplied with the things that keeps the team energized. 

  • Stock and keep office supplies top of mind - think pens, post-its, etc. 

  • Be the biggest damn cheerleader that Tellwell has - we’re a bunch of millenials and we do creative work - that means that we sometimes get down and you being our cheerleader is a big dang deal. 

  • Budget and meal plan and prep. 

  • Take care of the Tellwell vehicles (e.g. oil changes, fuelups, car washes (no manual labor!)

  • Meet and greet clients and folks we’re meeting with - make sure they have water, coffee, engage in a convo. 

  • Help coordinate office parties with our various committees

  • Pro-actively asks for additional tasks when their duties have been completed

Qualifications

  • Must be highly detail orientated, organized and thorough

  • You’re a cheerleader of your friends. 

  • You’re willing to work with a bunch of talented millennials. 

  • You’re ready to push yourself and receive real feedback. 

  • You can cook. 

  • Ready to say yes to adventure. 

  • Must love dogs - likely to need to take Kevin out regularly. 

  • Make sure our team does their chores, weekly.

Additional Information

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with Quickbooks - Position can grow into admin assistant supporting with invoicing 

  • Experience as an administrative or executive assistant

  • Familiarity with Asana and Google Apps
