We’re a small team with fun clients, big vision, and huge aspirations. We’re looking for an experienced engagement manager — someone with client communication skills, knowledge of marketing strategy, and project management experience — to keep our team growing and organized, and our clients are well taken care of. TBH we’re looking for a unicorn or a unicorn in the making.
As an Engagement Manager with Team Tellwell, you lead both client and team communication, account management, support marketing strategy development, and will work with clients who have strong values and missions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Establish and maintain relationships with clients
Effectively managing project scope and scope delivery
Organize, schedule, and oversee client projects from start to finish
Helping create estimates and proposals and business development related functions
Collaborate and support creatives on the Tellwell team to seek out and deliver client feedback
Clearly communicate and manage expectations and deadlines internally and externally
Partner with Max on marketing strategy
QA for all projects
Facilitate meetings with the Tellwell team and clients
Coordinate internal resources and external vendors as necessary
Client Partnership & Day-to-Day Communication
Stellar client service is an art. When your clients ask questions, you give them true answers — Tellwell doesn’t make things up to cover things up. You communicate with them in their own organization’s language — you become a part of their organization just as much as they’re a part of ours.
Marketing Strategy, Consulting, & Execution
You understand how both digital and physical marketing drives business growth, and when to use which. Alongside your teammates, you:
Have excellent proof-reading abilities
Have knowledge of ad-buying and the strategy to optimize client dollars
Are able to be adaptable and flexible to both make recommendations and execute to meet client goals
Are comfortable developing personas and identifying audiences
2-5 years of client-facing experience
Recognizing what needs to be done and getting it done
Organized and efficient with work and the ability to coach teammates on organization of projects and priorities
People and process-oriented
Strong client focus and empathy
Ability to hustle in a fast, demanding startup environment
A keen eye for design and film
Strong data, metrics, and analysis skills
Passion for improving team collaboration
Deeply rooted in social and love of technology
Work from our HQ in Fargo, ND
Knowledge and understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud and Google Apps for Business
Experience in Asana, Slack, and Everhour
Basic knowledge of Wordpress
