Job Description
Responsible for the technical specification and implementation of the ServiceNow integration
- Provide expertise on all technical questions related to development on of ServiceNow
- Develops the technical solutions, implements them and performs the component integration tests
- Understand the business needs and the needs to standardise processes, and build this into the design
- Understand the large scale thinking and approach needed for success of the project
- Expertise level understanding of ServiceNow required
- Expertise level programming skills
- Have line management responsibility for a number of ServiceNow developers
- Increase customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality consulting services on time and on budget
- Work with our technical architects to implement and deploy leading edge technologies to our customer base
- Identify opportunities to develop solutions for our customers
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to non-technical audiences
- Ability to address customer business requirements with effective solutions
- Ability to effectively estimate the effort required to deliver results and to correctly set customer expectations
Qualifications
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in ITSM technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organisation with an expanding customer base. Candidate must be organised and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to implement on time to a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Advanced experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM and preferable ITOM, CSM and HRSD
- Experience presenting and conducting demo reviews with client stakeholder
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members
- Understanding and creating technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow
- An advanced understanding of ITSM, ITIL or CMDB
- System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies
- Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs. All scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system including customising using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly and advance flows.
- Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs
