Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, including printing, painting, CNC, assembly, shipping, receiving, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, manufacturing experience, and a proven track record of improving safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations and ensure production schedules are met.

• Manage department supervisors and drive accountability across all teams.

• Maintain plant safety and ensure OSHA and environmental compliance.

• Improve productivity, quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.

• Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, scrap, and rework.

• Manage labor, materials, equipment, and operating budgets.

• Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments.

• Use ERP/MRP systems to monitor production and operational performance.

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop employees.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing experience.

• 7+ years of leadership or management experience.

• Experience managing multiple manufacturing departments.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA, plant safety, and compliance.

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.

• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; Epicor preferred.

• Strong knowledge of production planning, budgeting, and operations.

• Experience in custom fabrication, millwork, signage, woodworking, printing, or metal fabrication preferred.

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
