Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of carbon graphite products
- Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer specifications
- Document inspection results accurately using quality records, reports, and checklists
- Identify and report non-conformances; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Work closely with production and engineering to resolve quality issues
- Support calibration of inspection tools and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and comply with safety and quality policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required. An associate degree in quality, manufacturing technology, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical inspection methods
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in the use of inspection tools and gauges
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems a plus
