Project Engineer and Project Manager – Land Development

Job Description

Client is seeking a qualified Project Engineer with 4+ years of experience and a Project Manager to work in the Land Development Department in our Melville, New York office for an immediate start.

 

The work includes site/civil design and permitting for residential, multi-family, commercial, industrial and retail projects.

 

Responsibilities/Top Skills/Qualifications:

Design, permit and construction plans & specifications

Site planning

Grading and drainage

Knowledge of local permitting agencies and regulations a benefit

Client & contractor coordination

AutoCAD / Civil3D

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Good verbal communication, written communication, and organizational skills

 

Management Responsibilities:

Management and training of staff

Billing / collections

Proposals

NYS PE license preferred

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be willing and able to commute to our Melville office for this on-site position (non-remote).  Non-local candidates are encouraged to apply and relocation assistance may be available where appropriate.  The interview process is succinct
