Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Scope Specific

Role may align to Mechanical or Electrical field oversight, depending on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities emphasize execution, coordination, and observation within assigned scope

 

EH&S Job Site Specific (Supporting Role):

Collaborate with APLD on site EH&S to establish and sustain site health, safety, and security controls in accordance with corporate objectives

 

Procurement (Primary Responsibility):

Support the management of site logistics related to Owner-Furnished Equipment (OFCI)

Assist with receiving, inspection, and check-in of Applied Digital-furnished equipment

Verify that OFCI documentation is properly maintained by the General Contractor

 

Construction Management, Administration & Management (Primary Responsibility):

Maintain a consistent onsite presence during active construction hours; support off-hours work as required by the schedule

Monitor construction activities and communicate field progress, issues, or concerns to the Project Manage

Participate in GC-led meetings including OAC, subcontractor coordination, pull planning, BIM/VDC, RFI/submittal reviews, and logistics discussions

Provide field-level technical input and visual inspections for quality, constructability, and sequence

Maintain awareness of key project milestones and communicate schedule risks or delays

Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, utilities, and adjacent stakeholders as needed

Escalate disputes or conflicts through the Project Manager when resolution exceeds field authority

Prepare concise field reports and observations on a weekly or as-needed basis

 

Quality Control (Primary Responsibility):

Manage onsite job photography.

Support the GC’s Quality Control program through field observation and documentation

Manage onsite job photography and field records

Assist with punch list development and closure

Support specialty testing and inspection coordination as required

Monitor housekeeping, cleanliness, and data center–specific construction best practices

 

Site Security (Primary Responsibility):

Support enforcement of site-specific security requirements

Report security concerns or deviations to project leadership

 

Billing and Invoice Processing & Change Management (Primary Responsibility):

Assist in pay monitoring and control to ensure that the project remains within budgetary constraints. Review with the Applied Digital Project Manager change orders and pay applications from the contractor and vendors.

 

Commissioning & Training (Supporting Role):

Assist as required with Engineering team and CxA for startup and Commissioning.

 

Closeout & Turn-over (Primary Responsibility):

Coordinate with Project Manager and APLD Engineering/Turn over team to collect and review of Turnover Package for completeness and accuracy to support transition of completed projects to Operations.

 

Basic Qualifications:

Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems.

Work scope requires understanding of cost estimating, budgeting and forecasting.

Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

10+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction preferred

OSHA 30 Certified or willing to achieve.

Understanding of CPM Schedule Logic
