Client is presently looking for a Senior Project Engineer to grow within our Civil Engineering Department. Client is a leading multi-disciplinary land development consulting firm serving the three southern New England states (CT, MA, RI) from our home office in South Windsor, Connecticut. Our practice includes Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, and Land Planning services for private- and public-sector clients. We work on a wide variety of exciting projects including mixed-use and multi-family developments, single-family subdivisions, retail/commercial developments, houses of worship, industrial/warehouse buildings, government facilities, and recreational facilities.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
Hands-on design assisting in the preparation of site design plans using Civil 3D
Calculations and report preparation for storm drainage and stormwater management and water quality treatment systems
Site visits for analysis, data collection, monitoring, and soils testing for septic and stormwater systems
Work toward interfacing with clients, community officials, consultants and presenting site plans to local regulatory boards and commissions
Create a great learning environment for supervised employees, including project engineers, in order to advance their careers.
Work to obtain a Professional Engineer license

Required Qualifications: ​
BS degree in Civil Engineering from a program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET
Minimum of two years of experience in site design
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail
Experienced in a wide variety of land uses
Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
Experience in Stormwater Design/Calculations

Preferred Qualifications: ​
Proficiency with Civil 3D
Proficiency in HydroCAD
MS degree in Civil Engineering from a program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET
CT, MA, and/or RI licensure
