JOB FUNCTION AND KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Be able to manage large, complex projects involving multiple vendors, consultants, and substantial risks to the business specifically in the Cloud Domain; Portfolio of successful projects must include Cloud initiatives from inception to conclusion
-Typically be able to manage 2-4 projects simultaneously, where the project team includes 10-15 professionals;
-Work independently, receiving oversight and direction during critical decision points or issues.
-Be highly organized and able to drive a team to complete tasks
-Form productive networks with internal and external customers, consultants and the vendor community;
-Develop project plans and defines project purpose, clear roles, risks, tasks, milestones, and measures of success;
-Ensure that project financial status, material variations and technical information are proactively and effectively communicated to numerous audiences, including senior management, stakeholders and junior staff;
-Set and manage delivery expectations, which include delivering tough messages to stakeholders and management;
-Address unusual and non-recurring problems by devising approaches to assess the situation, developing and testing options, and introducing new procedures or tools, as necessary;
-Lead team in performing regular risk assessments and managing risk mitigation plans;
-Anticipate and address obstacles and potential areas of risk and provide timely feedback on performance to Resource Managers for all assigned staff;
-Continuously evaluate the skills needed as the project evolves, anticipate upcoming needs and adjust resource plans considering different sourcing options, to ensure the delivery of project;
-Work with business and teams to clarify vague, undefined business needs or gaps in scope;
-Seen by stakeholders as a key resource for facilitating collaboration for technical solutions for the project.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-Typical candidates will possess 6-8 years of relevant experience and BA/BS Degree or equivalent. Must have PMP / PMI certification.
-Experience in change management, human resources, and/or business and organizational transformation required
-Must take ownership for a project and act, assertively and sometimes aggressively, to enable its successful completion as planned. Take an Entrepreneurial approach to project management
-Strong relationship building skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
-Must have 5 yrs min in cross functional matrix environment
-Relationship manager / Successful in building relationships with stakeholders
