Position Summary:

This is a dream job for a people person with a love of the outdoors! Our Land Development Sales Manager will drive new business development. This person must possess an entrepreneurial mindset while delivering the goals of our customers and our company.

Land Development Sales Manager Responsibilities: 

  • Identifies, creates and nurtures new business development opportunities according to company’s ideal project guidelines. 
  • Researches customer and property needs to propose high-value solutions.  Assesses and vets opportunities to ensure each is in strategic alignment, promotes Tejas’ excellent reputation and is profitable.
  • Manages the company’s sales processes, personnel, lead activity and flow of opportunities to drive accountability and results
  • Recommends and executes marketing and sales strategies, plans, and programs, to achieve targeted sales 
  • Travels within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
  • Builds and maintains relationships with prospective, new and repeat customers and brokers to establish long term, ongoing relationships and referral streams
  • Participates actively in the sales efforts with key accounts in the territory
  • With support of Sales Amin, ensures all appointments and quote activities are accurate and current in CRM properly reflecting time spent with customers and on quote activities.  Consistently uses CRM to ensure proper and timely follow up with prospective customers. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ proven track record of achieving sales targets in the land development, real estate or construction industry
  • Ability to identify and provide solutions to customer needs
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and presentation skills
  • Professional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel regionally
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Proficiency in CRM
  • Agriculture/Outdoor enthusiast 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience in sales position preferred
