Job Description

Title: Maintenance Technician
Duration: 6 Months

Location: Collegeville, PA

Position Summary

The Junior Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of production equipment and facility systems. This role requires hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to work independently while supporting operational efficiency and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
  • Assist with equipment installation, setup, and modifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Support spare parts inventory management.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to minimize downtime.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent training in Industrial Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Basic knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with PLCs, VFDs, HVAC systems, or CMMS software is a plus.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins as needed.
