Job Description
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for reconciling, monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records across the ERP system, global 3PLs, and contract manufacturing warehouses. This role ensures inventory accuracy, product availability, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements while supporting supply chain efficiency and cost optimization.

Job Requirements

Skills:

•             Proficiency in ERP and Microsoft Excel

•             Solid knowledge of inventory control in an outsourced model

•             Demonstrates exceptional data extraction, problem solving, communication skills, both oral and written

•             Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage competing priorities in a regulated fast-paced, dynamic global environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities

•             Strong communication skills

•             Exhibits enthusiasm, adaptability and the capacity to navigate ambiguity and change effectively

•             Self-starter and able to work independently

 

Education and Experience

•             Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

•             2-3+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, logistics, or inventory analysis.

•             Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.

•             High attention to detail and data accuracy.

•             Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, regulated environment

•             Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated industries

•             Experience supporting inventory at global warehouses or healthcare 3PLs.

Job Responsibilities

Inventory Management & Control

•             Execute inventory movements and reconciliation between virtual plants in the ERP system

•             Reconcile inventory discrepancies between plant stock, warehouse reports, and ERP systems.

•             Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and audit activities with internal teams and external logistics partners.

•             Track inventory movements, transfers, and adjustments to maintain accurate transaction history.

Cross Functional Collaboration

•             Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Distribution teams to resolve inventory issues.

•             Coordinate with third party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with agreed processes.

•             Support inventory impacts related to system changes, migrations, or process updates.

Compliance & Process Support

•             Ensure inventory practices align with internal control requirements and applicable regulatory standards (e.g., GDP, SOX where applicable).

•             Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of SOPs and work instructions related to inventory processes.

•             Support investigations related to damaged, expired, or non conforming inventory
