Job Description

Job Title: Enterprise Operations Center Analyst
Location: 600 CANAL STREET, Richmond, VA, 23219
Duration: 12 Months plus Contract
Pay rate: $30.00 per hour on W2 with no benefits.

Local Candidates Only (If willing to relocate, please state in resume) - Wednesday-Friday 6:30am to 6:30pm with one Saturday per month same hours. The position is onsite in Richmond.

Work Schedule: 6:30am to 6:30pm with one Saturday per month same hours. TFF building downtown.

Description:   Feedback from Interviews: Looking more for data network monitoring experience. Familiarity with technical monitoring with network monitoring tools in a network operations centre. Does NOT want rack and stack technicians in a data centre.

Top Skills Needed:

- Network Operations Centre Experience
- Basic knowledge of IT Networking and telecommunications.
- IT network and telecommunications applications experience required.
- Understanding/Working Knowledge of IP Networks
- Network Monitoring Experience
- Experience with Telecommunications Transport Infrastructure.

Preferred Background Type: Network Operations Centre Experience, Data Network Analysts, etc.

Education/Certifications

Two-year technical degree desired. Not required, but preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of IT Networking and telecommunications. 
  • Demonstrates timely and effective response to customer and team member needs. 
  • Ability to work on enterprise systems and equipment. 
  • Ability to analyse multiple alarm systems and trouble reports.  Ability to perform remote maintenance of enterprise equipment. 
  • Strong aptitude for technical understanding. 
  • Ability to interact with various departments, and internal and external customer groups, to perform necessary telecommunications work. 
  • Awareness of customer requirements, with emphasis on major initiatives.  Ability to set priorities. 
  • Ability to respond effectively to diverse demands. 
  • Ability to provide personal availability and maintain rotation on call status. 
  • Ability to lift 45 pounds.  Ability to see and distinguish between colours.  Ability to work shift rotations.
