Job Description
The Solution Architect – Enterprise Applications will act as the primary conduit between business stakeholders and, project and delivery teams, to provide guidance and validate application and functional designs and will work closely with the existing Solution Architecture, Integration and Development Teams to guide and shape technical solutions that assist in achieving business outcomes and objectives.

- Workday for HR, Recruitment and T&A
- Navan for expenses

- Other critical application supporting daily operations
The primary focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of their requirements, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. This role will be to see that process flows and capabilities needed to address solution design requirements are fully documented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership and responsibility for Solution Architecture across the Corporate and Enterprise applications landscape with a primary focus on SAP Solutions, including end-to-end integrated solutions.
- Be assertive in enforcing IT and Architectural standards, policies, and principles.
- Apply pragmatism to provide applications and solutions by understanding, analysing, and translating business and technical requirements to enhance, support and facilitate the design of business enabling solutions.
- Assist in identifying the best solution among all available choices to solve the existing business problems by carefully reviewing and analysing the business, functional and technical requirements.
- Work across Technology and business teams to provide a seamless internal customer experience, Identify, prioritize, and plan technology enabled process improvement demand, and Identify, evaluate, and recommend application landscape optimization opportunities
- Plan and own the delivery of approved application landscape optimization opportunities, including resource, schedule and budget planning and management.
- Drive the continuous delivery of changes to enhance business performance, including working with SaaS providers to influence product roadmap.
- Identify, plan, and implement standard processes for continuous improvement.
- Articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; identifying sub-project requirements to program management teams.
- Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction.
- Assist the program management team by identifying project milestones, tasks, issues, risks and providing regular project status reports.
In addition to the above job description, you may be asked to carry out other duties as deemed appropriate, assigned to you by your direct manager.
Qualifications
- A proven track record working as a Solution Architect and a concise understanding of current architectural best practices.
- Experience integrating ERP with broader application landscape including HR systems, operations systems, ancillary finance systems, reporting, etc. Experience with B2B, EDI, webservices, connectors, and low-code automation. Experience with process automation across systems desired.
- Experienced in core finance business processes including P2P, O2C, F2R and familiar with treasury and tax practices.
- Experience in articulating, presenting and communicating technical topics to a non-technical audience at all levels of the internal organization and with 3rd parties where necessary.
- Software full Lifecycle Management.
- Software Release Management.
- Demonstrable experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Experience in delivering cross-domain, multi-year application roadmaps and supporting artifacts.
- Experience in delivering transformational change with ERP platforms including business process design/review and documenting and implementing best practices. Experience with SAP and/or other mid/enterprise tier ERP platforms such as MSDynamics365, Workday Financial, NetSuite, etc. required.
- Have defined, documented, and communicated crucial architecture principles and ways of working as a template for future projects/engagements.
- Experienced in the assessment and implementation of SaaS solutions.
- Preparing and providing SAP solution demonstrations to the team, business partners and leadership, including end user support.
- Experience of working with BI software and platforms as well as banking and payments processing SaaS products.
- Working knowledge of EDI as broker for sales, invoice, and payment transactions.
- Ability to operate in Off-shore/on-shore resource model.
- Workshop Facilitation experience.
- Extensive experience implementing enterprise solutions in a services management context.
- Experience with planning and forecasting solutions.
- French speaker would be an advantage.
