Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Marketing & PR Manager who can market The Mill's talent, creativity and passion to the wider advertising industry by liaising with ad agencies and production companies (our clients) to promote new work by our London and Amsterdam studios

The Role:

  • Skilled professional writer, with excellent copywriting and proof reading skills
  • Be a creative thinker and creative problem solver
  • A team player, personable and approachable
  • Previous experience in Marketing & PR
  • A good understanding of how brand strategy and tone-of-voice can be driven through relationships, written and visual content
  • Pro-active, forward-thinking and a self starter
  • A good communicator and able to quickly build close relationships
  • Able to drive multiple projects forward simultaneously, working to deadlines and delivering results
  • Have excellent project management, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Be a sociable person who enjoys attending awards and events
  • Experience in post-production and VFX is advantageous but not essential
  • Liaising with The Mill VFX Producer on all work, gathering credits, finished files and info per job
  • Maintain and expand press relationships and contacts database. Identify opportunities and lead press outreach for all project launches, news and company updates. Grow and strengthen our presence across mainstream and trade press
  • Maintain and grow The Mill’s SEO performance and engagement with our clients
  • Plan and organise events and promotional activities to increase brand awareness. These include awards, juries, panel discussions, thought leadership, industry organisation participation opportunities, as we  as internal events hosted by The Mill
  • Develop and execute a year-round integrated marketing plan
  • Working with Business Development to time and curate relevant material to London / UK and share intel to shape strategies
  • Work closely with Business Development sharing intel on data analysis, formation of thought pieces and editorial suggestions for press
  • Analyse marketing and social data and track performance metrics to optimise marketing efforts and share with Business Development
  • Control of writing copy and have skills to make visuals, keep on top of the mailing list contacts.  Scheduling in coordination with New business when and what goes out to the mailing lists. 
  • Setting up screenings and socials with advertising agencies and brands with new business
  • Management of awards and events submission pipelines
  • Thought-leadership opportunities at relevant festivals and events
  • Instagram - you will have control on a curatorial, brand voice and posting front
  • Presence at awards / events / socials for live &  immediate posting on socials
  • Ensuring all new projects and brand messaging are handled appropriately across all web and social platforms.
