Job Description

The Central Production Assistant is responsible for administrative tasks such as, but not limited to, managing the Central Production calendar, managing the Production PunchOut/Kronos e.g. logging sickness, holidays and OT, and helping with on-boarding of new starters. Other responsibilities include helping to prepare Quarterly meeting and/or Production meetings, and supporting HOP and CPM in documentation creation.  

In partnership with the CPM, quality check show management through the Production tools, including tasks in the past, quotas out-of-date, and Shotgun Shot/Discipline status review. Support CPM with booking training sessions; and working with L&D to create content and add courses to MPC Film Production Sharepoint page. 

Show Management  

Supports Shows before award or pitch; and provides ad-hoc support with client reviews. Can also be asked to support on-going shows where needed.

Champion a positive and productive culture of high performance, supporting the brand as a global leader in visual effects; be an advocate of diversity and inclusivity; and act as an ambassador to promote MPC film within the local film community.

  • Nice to have – some film industry knowledge
