Job Description

These contracts are; 3, 6, 12 months on offer.

Facial Motion Capture Animators are responsible for producing high-quality animations for our feature film productions. If you have a passion for animation, facial workflows & techniques and you can use Maya then we want to hear from you, whether you've just graduated, are looking for new challenges or are used to leading teams of Animators - all levels are welcome! This position will sit in-between raw mocap data and final animations focusing on creating visually stunning, natural and expressive animation. Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Faceware, Dynamixyz or similar software
  • Knowledge of FACS (Facial Action Coding System) 
  • Ability to keyframe believable human faces 
  • Ability to animate in Maya 

Additional Information

You would be an absolute superstar if you also possessed the following bonus skills: 

  • Previous experience with Linux 
  • A small amount of scripting knowledge - Mel or Python preferred 
  • Previous experience in a VFX environment 
  • An understanding of Rigging 
  • Some basic knowledge of Unreal 
  • Knowledge of film animation pipelines
