Job Description

The Customer Delivery Manager is accountable for on time delivery and execution within budget, product quality, financial management, KPI management, contract change management and program change management for set top box video programs within the Latin America market. In this role you will:

  • Execute specific customer projects, including NPIs, based on guidelines from Regions, applying standard processes & tools.
  • Interface to the R&D Project Manager in the Product Unit, which is the contact point on R&D for the project.
  • Communicate the project status, including key process indicators to management and stakeholders, and proactively alerts towards appropriate level
  • Manage the scope of the project in a cost-efficient manner, from the initialization to post-mortem
  • Understand and strive to meet customer expectations to commit to R&D deliverables
  • Coordinate and empower people into a united team focused on the objectives (e.g.: commitments to cost, planning, deliverables...)
  • Provide the deliverables in the required timeframe in optimizing the allocated budget, the R&D contribution to the product cost and the required quality level
  • Follow and track development costs in regard to targeted budget
  • Anticipate, assess and follow risks, prerequisites, dependencies and issues
  • Proactively integrate any changes impacting the project
  • As a contact point, work closely with Product Line Manager and Pre-sales teams to propose resource estimations, validate the concept feasibility and contribute to technical discussions with customer if necessary

Qualifications

Years of experience required:

A minimum of 5 years of  program management experience within the consumer electronics market

Education: 

College degree in engineering. MBA is preferred

Project Management post-degree. Certification is preferred

 

Languages proficiency:

Spanish (advanced: native or fluent)

English (advanced: fluent)
