Job Description

.Net Developer, McLean, VA

Description of specific Duties in a typical workday for this position:

  • Design, code, deploy, and test applications according to the user stories/requirements and industry best practices
  • Collaborate to design and implement features
  • Implement assigned components as defined in the system design of the web applications
  • Implement assigned components as defined for the mobile application
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure those features never break
  • Assist in development and peer review of plans, technical solutions, and related documentation.
  • Use version control to version your code
  • Support the Technical Solution and Product Integration CMMI processes within the project as assigned

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Math or Science
  • Minimum of one or more years of experience in technical development activities according to requirements and industry best practices using .Net Languages
  • Experience with toolsets such as Visual studio, Oracle Client to perform the development activities for the web applications on Windows OS
  • Experience with consuming and understanding of web services.
  • Experience integrating provisioning profiles into mobile applications in preparation for deployment of the applications
  • Experience understanding the user stories and implementing complex business rules into the application/product as assigned
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced agile environment with limited supervision
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and information comprehension and fast learning skills
  • Organized, energetic & passionate team player

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with toolsets such as Xamarin, Visual studio on MacOs to perform the development of classic forms in C#.net for the mobile applications
  • Experience using development and architecture tools such as Visio etc.
  • Experience using requirements and change management tools such as JIRA etc.
  • CMMI, Agile knowledge/familiarity
  • Federal Government project experience
  • Radio frequency communication business processes

 

This is a full time position paying a base salary, full benefits, and has possible bonus potential based on merit and performance.
