Sr. Claims Specialist, Hyattsville, MD

Description of specific Duties in a typical workday for this position:

• Participates in Random Claims Quality Checks (RCQC) and other Re-inspections.
• Work with Claims Manager to support General Adjusters’ activities.
• Organize post and review for content and correctness of submissions.
• Report, track and communicate status and issues, based on client needs.
• Respond to stakeholders as required.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and deliverables.
• Perform administrative and support activities for lead and manager.
• Support Flood Response Office (FRO) activities.
• Support other areas of the project as required.

• 10 years of NFIP and or P&C claims adjustment background
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Computer and data entry skills
• Highly organized, energetic, creative, passionate, team player
• Detailed oriented problem solver
• Execute tasks based on operational priorities
• Must be able to complete EOD high
• Must be a US citizen

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent experience
• National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) background and experience
• Experience with SharePoint, SharePoint forms and lists
• Experience with MS Project
