Job Description

Your daily tasks:

  • establish and drive a creative culture that engages world class talent, maximizes team potential, and encourages proactive cross-discipline collaboration to deliver the best possible games
  • defining a clear, creative vision for the game and establishing the foundations of the game (meaning, story, tone, player fantasy, game experience),
  • providing guidance to all content directors and making iterative reviews to ensure the vision in maintained,
  • presenting innovative ideas including game breakthrough to drive the player experience and engagement to next level,
  • understanding new trends driving player expectations and behaviors,
  • guiding early prototyping with innovative approach,
  • creating visible, wide-spread support for direction, rallying for action
  • communicating progress and resolution of issues with the ability to set guidelines,
  • presenting game in communications, including delivering presentations and taking responsibility for internal reviews with stakeholders,
  • managing the quality targets and achieved results

Qualifications

You meet our expectations if you have:

  • 6 + years of leadership in experience in the video game industry with AAA titles,
  • proven experience building and leading a game development team, 
  • exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills, 
  • effective cross-team communication skills: you have the know-how to comfortably communicate with all gamedev fields (programming, animation, art, design, marketing),
  • the ability to take technical and production feasibility into account when coming up with concepts,
  • mentorship skills and you can share your expertise to guide the team,
  • good knowledge of game engines (e.g. Unity or Unreal) and their limitations
