SCIENCE AND RESEARCH

Support projects by executing chemical and petroleum lab scale experiments and supporting pilot plant operations. Buildup of the test equipment and piping systems (piping and tubing). Lead or support a shift and create daily operating reports. Provide on the spot updates and project management. Compile and report test data. Work directly with chemical and petroleum materials. SHIFT WORK WILL BE REQUIRED. (24/5) Predominately outdoor work. Will work with other design engineers to coordinate fabrication projects with the machine shop.

HS Diploma or GED with some College preferred (NO DEGREES)
Familiar with computer software, Excel. Mechanical aptitude is a must.
Understanding basic fluid flow and gas flow and pressure.

Position requires self initiative and the desire to increase general knowledge as well as a natural interest in science and how data and science are used to support process development. Safety conscience is Extremely important. Hands on experience for pipe fitting, controls set up and field operations a plus. Process design Experience a plus!! NO DEGREE

Hours will vary from 20 to 40 hours per week depending on project funding
Standing for long periods may be required.
