Job Description

We are looking for a capable IT person to support the operations of the company’s Server administration and portable devices. The service desk coordinates the provision of IT support services for the company’s on and off-shore operations and covers all business hours of its offices. The service desk also performs other auxiliary support functions for the company’s end-users.

 

Function

  • Manages software upgrades and installation of hotfixes, patches and service packs
  • Troubleshoot complex problems and document technical procedures as necessary
  • Respond to system outages and maintenance needs
  • Resolves technical escalations and provides recommendations for performance improvements
  • Research and provision new systems to enhance the organization’s capabilities
  • Monitor systems performance and ensure availability and usability

Qualifications

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience in Windows Server 2012/2016 Administration
  • Proven experience with Azure
  • Strong knowledge in Active Directory, LDAP and DNS
  • Knowledge in IIS in a web hosting environment
  • Understanding of networking, including firewalls and load balancers such as F5
  • Exposure to patching tools and deploying updates
  • Experience with Sophos
  • Experience with administration of Exchange 2013, Lync 2013 and SharePoint 2013/2016
  • Experience in Office 365 Administration including Exchange Online, Onedrive, SharePoint Online and Skype for Business
  • Experience with OKTA and other password managers is a plus
  • Familiar with the ITIL process
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining IT Service Management (ITSM) tools
  • Microsoft certification is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Knowledge in Linux administration is a plus
  • Required skill(s): windows server 2016, office 365, sccm, SCOM

 

Requirements:

  • A graduate of Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or other related courses
  • At least 3 years of working experience as a server administrator
  • A diverse range of technical skills including but not limited to Systems Administration
  • Must be a team player and can work effectively with peers in resolving problems
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet hard deadlines
  • Must have excellent communication and analytical skills
