Position Description:

My Client is in need of a WebFOCUS developer with Version 8.x and Version 7.x experience

The developer will design and develop complex enterprise level applications and other system software using a strong working knowledge of WebFOCUS and Section 508 testing and coding standards. Will use superior oral and written communications skills as needed to effectively convey progress, issues, reports, and other customer deliverables with clarity and value.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated design and development skills using WebFOCUS Version 8.x and Version 7.x

• Experience in WebFOCUS Developer Studio, Managed Reporting, Dashboard and ReportCaster

• Experience with SQL

• Experience in Focus language

• Ability to trouble shoot & resolve coding issues to fix dashboards  

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• 

Desired Skills:

• Experience with JavaScript and HTML 

• Experience with version control software such as MKS.

• Knowledge of both client/server and mainframe-based systems.

• Strong background in coding and testing Section 508 standards.

• Ability to use Microsoft office suite for creating documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations. 

• Business Process Modeling experience to visualize, document, model and analyze business processes.

• Ability to independently and rapidly learn new technology, as needed

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 11 years of professional experience.

Duration : 2-3 years contract
