Position Description:

The Field Service Engineers' mandate is to ensure customer satisfaction with respect to the proper installation and performance of the equipment supplied by the company, in compliance with all technical, contractual and safety specifications.

Duties and responsibilities include the following:

- Installation, start-up, commissioning and test of the company’s equipment supplied to a customer plant

- Technical assistance during and after warranty period on site or by phone

- Training customer’s employees and other services on the equipment delivered to the customer

- Other tasks as required to fulfilling their mandate

Position Requirements:

1- Degree in Automation, Mechanics, or Maintenance (e.g. Electromechanical background with Automation / PLC knowledge)

2- Fluency in English and French is MANDATORY, Spanish would be an asset

3- 5+ years of Field Service experience in a similar industry (packaging equipment, automated machinery)

4- Proficient with MS Office Suite, CAD Software (e.g. SEE ELECTRICAL), automation software for PLC programming (e.g. Rockwell, etc.)

5- Strong Safety orientation

6- Strong problem solving skills and resourcefulness to work independently at remote sites

7- Customer service oriented personality and team spirit

Job Status: Full Time / Permanent
