In-depth knowledge of MPP design and Netezza architecture

Working knowledge of Data Distribution and impact on query performance

Design physical database objects (tables, views, sequences) on Netezza to support normalized and dimensional models for best query performance results

Working expertise on Netezza load/unload – nzload and external table usage

Working knowledge of Netezza CLI commands

Expert in Netezza sql – nzsql and scripting

Sound knowledge of Netezza High Availability concepts

Netezza Administration and use of admin tools

Good hands-on experience on performance tuning and space reclamation

Sound knowledge in analyzing Netezza query plans

Knowledge of UNIX shell scripts

Working expertise ETL tool with Netezza preferably IBM Data Stage

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology.

Minimum of 2 years of focused concentration in Netezza and ETL platform (preferably IBM DataStage)

Job Status: Full Time
