At least 2 years of experience using IBM Cognos TM1 with proven experience in the following areas:

  -2 years of experience as a Senior Developer in all aspects of Cognos TM1 onwards (TM1 Rules, Turbo Integrator process, Dimension, Hierarchy and Dimension subset, TM1 Security, User Access on cube, users rights, Cube View)

  -Excellent SQL / Oracle skills as this forms the backbone of all the Cognos BI solutions

  -Understand and work with Turbo Integrator to load and retrieve data.

  -Worked with large sets of data, multi-dimensional data sets

  -DevelopedTM1 applications / cubes in support of business needs and develop TM1 processes and TM1 rules.

  -Responsible for implementation and development of IBM Cognos TM1 - planning, budgeting and forecasting solutions, as well as analytical and reporting applications.

  -TM1 Administration – security, clients installation, configuration, migration, modification.

  -Previous exposure to complex environments

  -Strong analytical, conceptual and client facing skills

  -Independent working style and ability to manage delivery under pressure

  -Excellent communication and co-ordination skill

Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems

Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

Experience in Insurance domain

Strong analytical skills

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology.

At least 2 years of hands on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in Cognos Projects - MUST.

At least 2 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects.
