Our teams deliver end-to-end SAP programs for international customers across industries, covering SAP BASIS, S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, Managed Cloud and SAP BTP.

As a SAP BASIS Consultant – RISE Migrations, you will play a critical role in the design, migration and operation of complex SAP landscapes, with a strong focus on RISE with SAP (Private Cloud Edition).

You will work on multiple projects in parallel and act as a key technical interface between customers, SAP and hyperscalers throughout the full lifecycle of SAP migrations and operations.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Designing, installing and administering SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, HANA) on-premise and in the cloud
• Leading end-to-end SAP BASIS activities: installations, upgrades, migrations and support
• Executing and supporting RISE with SAP (Private Cloud Edition) migrations
• Performing SAP Readiness Check 2.0, Maintenance Planner and Simplification Item analysis
• Coordinating end-to-end with SAP for:
  • incidents and service requests
  • maintenance windows
  • upgrades and patching (SAP & OS)
• Acting as the primary technical contact between the customer, SAP and hyperscalers
• Performing HANA performance tuning and optimization
• Managing backup and recovery solutions (NetBackup, TSM, etc.)
• Supporting third-party integrations (OpenText, Content Server, middleware tools)
• Supporting interface migration and testing (RFC, IDoc, SAP CPI, APIs)
• Working within SAP ECS / SAP Managed Cloud operating models
• Contributing to monitoring and operations using SAP Cloud ALM, Focused Run or Solution Manager
• Producing technical documentation and operational procedures
• Supporting and mentoring consultants on SAP BASIS best practices

🎓 Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience

📅 Experience

• 7+ years of experience as an SAP BASIS Consultant
• Minimum 3 end-to-end SAP implementation or migration projects
• Proven hands-on experience on:
  • SAP BASIS on-premise and cloud
  • SAP ECC, S/4HANA and HANA
  • RISE with SAP (Private Cloud Edition)
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel

🛠️ Technical skills

• SAP BASIS administration (end-to-end)
• SAP S/4HANA & HANA installations, upgrades and migrations
• HANA performance tuning and optimization
• RISE with SAP operating model (Private Cloud Edition)
• SAP ECS / SAP Managed Cloud
• SAP Readiness Check, Maintenance Planner, Simplification Item analysis
• OS and RDBMS fundamentals
• Backup & recovery tools (NetBackup, TSM)
• Interface technologies (RFC, IDoc, SAP CPI, APIs)
• SAP Cloud ALM, Focused Run or Solution Manager
• Working knowledge of SAP BTP
• SAP BASIS and/or HANA certifications are a plus
