• Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms (RICEFW objects), and workflows.
• Translate functional specifications from business analysts into technical designs and robust ABAP code.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of existing ABAP objects.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations using technologies like IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData services, and proxies.
• Support SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, or HR with custom developments and enhancements (e.g., user exits, BADIs, implicit/explicit enhancements).
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and production support.
• Provide technical documentation, including specifications and test plans.
• Assist in SAP upgrades, migrations (e.g., to S/4HANA), and occasional mentoring of junior developers.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development (mid-level typically requires 4–6 years).
• Strong proficiency in core ABAP programming, including object-oriented ABAP (ABAP OO).
• Experience with classical and interactive reports, ALV, dialog programming, SmartForms/Adobe form, and data dictionary objects.
• Knowledge of enhancement techniques (user exits, customer exits, BADIs, enhancement framework).
• Familiarity with integration tools (IDocs, ALE, RFC, BAPI) and web services.
• Exposure to modern SAP technologies like SAP Fiori/UI5, OData, CDS views, AMDP, or RAP (Restful ABAP Programming) is a plus, especially for S/4HANA environments.
