Job Description

We are looking for a PR Manager to join our EMEA team remotely in the UK. You will take care of all PR activities outside of DACH and across EMEA region incl. managing all local PR agencies to support local sales and marketing activities.

  • Development of country-specific PR plans for TeamViewer’s focus countries in the EMEA region besides DACH (UK, France, Spain, Italy, Greece) – together with the local sales and marketing colleagues, the respective PR agencies as well as with HQ communications team
  • Ensuring execution of approved PR plans and steering of the PR agencies; recruiting and onboarding of new agencies if needed
  • Constantly improving TeamViewer’s share of voice within EMEA B2B publications (tech and trade media) and position TeamViewer representatives as thought leaders
  • Writing and editing of press releases, byline articles, customer success stories and other content
  • Organization and execution of press events like press conferences, round tables, press tours
  • Handling of media inquiries and interviews with company spokespeople
  • Accompanying relevant tradeshows, conferences and other events in the EMEA region, leveraging them for media relations
  • Maintaining of journalist contacts within the EMEA region
  • Coordination of knowledge sharing and best practice exchange within all EMEA focus countries and also worldwide
  • Supporting issues management and crisis communications activities as well as social media

Qualifications

  • University degree in journalism, media / communications or business administration / economics or similar background
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in the field of PR / communications
  • Knowledge of local media landscape and good relationship to relevant journalists in the EMEA region, UK and France
  • Experience in the software / tech industry and high tech savviness
  • Experience in managing PR agencies
  • Proven experience in the development and implementation of PR campaigns
  • Very good knowledge of English, further European language skills advantageous
  • Very good writing / editing / reviewing and storytelling skills
