Job Description

We are looking for a proactive (Senior) Data Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Business Intelligence team and take the responsibility of supporting internal stakeholders by building and maintaining data pipelines and ingestions, and further developing a shared data platform used for reporting and taking data-driven business decisions across the organization.

  • Perform technical maintenance and development of the reporting data warehouse and data lake, including pipeline architecture decisions, testing and integration of new technologies
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and translate business requests to technical specifications
  • Proactively support the Business Intelligence, Finance, Controlling, Marketing and Sales teams with data related requests 
  • Help to analyze and improve products available on 2.5+ billion devices globally

Qualifications

  • Graduated from university or college studies in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems or any related subject
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the field of Big Data
  • Background in working with AWS cloud solutions; having also dealt with Azure cloud is an advantage
  • Good programming skills in Python and strong SQL skills; possessing knowledge of Scala is a plus
  • Understanding of Docker, Airflow and DBT and background in maintaining Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions such as Redshift, Athena & Glue
  • Excellent communication skills paired with willingness to interact with stakeholders and technical mentoring with less technical background 
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages are a plus
