Bank Support Worker

Job Description

We are a healthcare provider that specialises in personalised care for people with brain injuries. We are looking for additional Support Workers in the Haslemere area. If you are reliable, empathetic, patient and have good communication skills we want to hear from you.

This is a Bank position for shifts running through the week from 12pm to 11pm. The rate of pay ranges from £9.00 to £11.56 per hour. We also pay for your mileage (to, from and during shift), as well as any personal protection equipment you may need.

We offer all our support workers a free enhanced DBS check, 25 days of paid annual holiday, and a pension scheme. You will have 24/7 contact with the office staff including managers and coordinators through our On-Call system, as well as regular supervisions and appraisals. We are a very receptive team with an open-door policy, and our aim is to ensure that you feel safe and happy doing your job. We will also provide you with extensive paid training, accredited Care Certificate, as well as specialist nurse led approach for clinical needs. Successful applicants will be eligible for a £250.00 joining bonus (terms and conditions apply).

About the Client

You will be working as part of the team that supports a lady who lives on her own with our support in the area of Haslemere. There are always two support workers on duty. Due to her mobility restrictions you will be helping her with all aspects of personal care as well as with her rehabilitation therapies (physiotherapy). She enjoys chatting and discussing current affairs and the news. She also likes enjoys listening to music and has an interest in art and architecture.

The right candidate must be patient and engaged to help our client deal with her everyday tasks and to keep up with her interests. In this way you will really be contribution to allowing our client to continue to life independently and within the community. Due to her mobility restrictions, successful candidates must be able to drive.
