Support Worker
Job Description
We are a healthcare provider that specialises in personalised care for people with brain injuries. We are looking for Support Workers in the Milton Ernest area. If you are reliable, empathetic, patient and have good communication skills we want to hear from you.
We are looking for staff to work Monday to Sunday long shifts from 7am to 10pm, or short shifts from 7am to 3pm/ 3pm to 10pm. We are able to offer full time hours on this package and the rate of pay starts at £9.37 per hour increasing up to £11.71 during the weekends. All suitable candidates must be bale to work alternating weekends. We also pay for your mileage (to, from and during shift), as well offering all new starters a £250.00 when they join our team (terms and conditions apply).
We offer all our support workers a free enhanced DBS check, 25 days of paid annual holiday, and a pension scheme. You will have 24/7 contact with the office staff including managers and coordinators through our On-Call system, as well as regular supervisions and appraisals. We are a very receptive team with an open-door policy, and our aim is to ensure that you feel safe and happy doing your job. We will also provide you with extensive paid training, accredited Care Certificate, as well as specialist nurse led approach for clinical needs.
About the Client
You will be working with one of our clients in the area of Milton Ernest. Due to her restricted mobility, you will help her with transfers and all aspects of personal care. In addition, you will be trained to support our client with her clinical needs. Your role will be to provide support will all aspects of their every day life and keeping them safe whilst in the community.
The right candidate must be passionate and flexible to make a difference in this woman's life and to encourage their development. Due to her mobility restrictions, successful candidates must be able to drive.
