Job Description
TCS seeks to bring on board a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for the development and execution of a sales pipeline and strategy in support of our IT Managed Services, Telecommunications Products and Services, Cloud Services, Hardware, Software, and Accessories. The qualified candidate will prospect for sales opportunities & build a qualified sales pipeline for our products and services. Duties include but are not limited to: lead generation and qualification, inbound and outbound sales efforts, product demos, maintenance of crm system information, trades shows and special projects as assigned. Must have long term community ties and contacts for assigned geographic territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Seeking out and establishing new business relationships, educating customers on latest technologies and services that impact their efficiency and bottom line.
- Build, manage and penetrate accounts to promote new business development activities.
- Cold calling, site visits, networking in person and social media, participate in channel partner sales campaigns/events to constantly build your pipeline.
- Close, close, close that business like we know you can!
- Schedule, report and forecast sales activities through various corporate tools (such as CRM and similar).
- Attend training seminars, maintain product knowledge of existing, and new products and services and drive your customer’s interest with our latest solutions.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals and reap the rewards of your hard work!.
- Ability to execute a sales plan and work independently
- Ability to demonstrate a successful history of heavy outbound call activity
- Proven ability to proactively and quickly learn new technologies.
- Proven ability to successfully prospect for sales opportunities and build a qualified sales pipeline Expected to be an enthusiastic, outgoing, driven and motivated individual who can work as part of a cross functional team.
- Perform all job responsibilities with total integrity and accountability.
- Excellent English language verbal communications skills. European languages a plus.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. CRM systems a plus. Internet and Internet based technologies.

Experience
- 3 or more years of proven IT sales and consulting experience required selling IT services (managed IT services, network integration, systems integration, hosting, cloud services, subscription software services, IT management and support) and/or telecom systems/services.
- Consistently exceed quotas and sales goals and has a strong work ethic to pursue opportunities to close.
- Have a history of selling into both SMB and Enterprise level accounts in various vertical markets such as healthcare, banking, manufacturing, property management, hospitality, education, finance, healthcare.
- Will be a "hunter" driving new accounts. Can develop 30-60-90 activities and drive pipelines to initial sales and repeat business.
- Able to pick up new technical product knowledge with ease. Should have strong technical knowledge of understanding IT business solutions, cloud, managed network services, voice, and software development.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or higher or equivalent work experience.
- Sales training classes and best practices
- Technical Sales Certifications a plus!
