About the role

We are looking for Factory Cleaners to join the team at our Blenheim site. You will primarily be involved in the cleaning process within the shellfish factory at the completion of production.

You will be working 3pm – 11pm, Monday – Friday and weekends as required (standard hours – may vary depending on factory processing and requirements).

The pay rate for this position will be $29.50 per hour.

As a Factory Cleaner, you will be responsible for:

• Chemical handling
• Cleaning of processing machinery and other factory surfaces
• The dismantling of equipment for access to internal machinery parts
• Training of new staff (when trained and competent)

For this role, you’ll need:

• Excellent attention to detail
• High level of physical fitness (preferrable)
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work well under pressure
• The ability to learn about the processing machines
