A fantastic opportunity for a passionate and highly creative Graphic Designer to join our team.

You will be the in-house presence responsible for producing highly creative and brand aware design solutions across a wide range of marketing projects, and be expected to follow all projects through the stages of concept, art direction, artwork, proofing and final print sign off. You will act as a brand guardian and be the main point of contact for all graphics related projects throughout the company, so strong communication and presentation skills are also a must.

Projects will include creating promotional campaigns, branding and art direction, packaging design, web and email graphics, brochures, and internal comms and presentations. Working within set budgets, you will be able to demonstrate a good commercial awareness within a fast paced retail environment. Strong project management skills and a good understanding of print production and campaign collation are also essential, as you will be the main point of contact with external printers and suppliers, and will also be responsible for maintaining and developing the companies POS library.

As the role is based within a small team you will also be expected to help out with other areas of the department when required, so a flexible approach to work and a down to earth attitude is a must, along with a strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Freehand, Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Strong artworking skills
- A good understanding of print buying and production
- Ability to work to brand guidelines
- Team Player

Desirable skills

- Experience of working with Retail organisations either in-house or agency side
- Retouching skills
