Job Description
- Keep the management account of the organization updated regularly.
- Provide weekly reports on expenses and income to ensure real-time financial insights.
- Collaborate with external accounting professionals, including tax consultants and auditors, to meet all financial requirements.
- Effectively manage and fund the budget for operational activities.
- Monitor outstanding debts and accounts receivable for optimal financial health.
- Ensure accurate and updated inventory books to support seamless operations.
- Manage the company's financial obligations in countries where it has a registered business presence.
- Cultivate strong relationships with banking partners and vendors to negotiate discounts and control spending.
- Oversee and manage all financial operations of the company.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a finance role with a strong emphasis on data analysis and accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, especially Zoho Books, and advanced Excel skills.
- Previous experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and proactively take initiative.
- Knowledge of e-commerce financial operations and inventory management.
- Ability to leverage technology to enhance workflow processes, such as using Zapier or creating workflow automations in Zoho.
- Experience in filing taxes or collaborating with tax consultants.
Our Preferred Candidate is someone who has these skills set:
- Advanced data analysis with proficiency in Excel and other spreadsheet tools.
- Comprehensive accounting experience, including the preparation of management accounts.
- Proficient in calculating and interpreting key financial ratios such as Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) and Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC).
- Skilled in developing financial metrics tailored to assess cross-departmental financial performance.
Additional Information
- Reports to: CEO
- Work schedule: Working days are Mondays - Fridays (9am - 6pm). Public holidays excluded. You might be required to respond to messages outside of working hours.
- You'll report directly to the CEO.
- Pay is 300K - 400K per month.
