Job Description

Reports to: CEO

The Head of Corporate Strategy and Project Management will lead the development and execution of the company's corporate strategy, as well as oversee the planning and implementation of key projects and initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong strategic mindset and be able to drive complex projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's overall corporate strategy, including long-term vision, goals, and objectives
  • Identify and evaluate growth opportunities, including potential mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and new business ventures
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive key projects and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the industry
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, investors, and senior management
  • Establish and maintain project management best practices and standards across the organization
  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and the board on the progress of key projects and initiatives

 

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; MBA or equivalent degree preferred
    • At least 10 years of experience in corporate strategy and project management, preferably in the retail sector
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve complex objectives
    • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and solve complex problems
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
    • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred
    • Experience with mergers and acquisitions and/or business development highly desirable
