Job Description

Our Marketing Director will be a strategic thought partner and a communicative leader, who has the capacity and inclination to make tactical execution happen internally as well as with our agency partners.  You will work with internal project managers and researchers to create successful sales campaigns. You will be able to capitalize on Talent Tech Labs vast content capabilities to promote engagement within the HR sector and ultimately drive accelerated growth of our client base. 

As a research and advisory company we generate volumes of unique content and thought leadership narratives. In this role you will:

  • Creating the company marketing plan, complete with strategies to apply content marketing, sales campaigns, develop sales materials, organize virtual events, and lead generation programs. 

  • Create effective content for use on the Web site, in campaigns and for sales enablement. 

  • Be responsible for the website and social channels, oversee marketing automation and provide support to the sales team with lower funnel materials to help close business. 

  • Collaborate with our sales team to identify and target the ideal customer personas through the qualification and conversion stages and develop strategies and content to accelerate closing sales.

  • Envision and craft effective sales presentation tools: one pagers, standard proposal templates, case studies and support materials, that position  Talent Tech Labs research and services as a “must have ''.

  • Partner with the research team, to manage our content calendar to tie releases with industry and Talent Tech Labs hosted events to build engagement and drive momentum. 

  • Work with the leadership team to identify and prioritize speaking opportunities and create an attendance plan for Talent Tech Labs influencers and subject matter experts.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in sales oriented marketing leadership roles, including driving company- wide marketing strategies in partnership with cross- functional teams in a B2B business

  • Demonstrated skills in email marketing messaging and developing thought leadership to enhance the organization’s reputation and sales growth

  • Prior experience working effectively with outside agency partners

  • Track record of formalizing processes, measurement tools and reporting structure to support the marketing team’s goals

  • Team-player and builder who can execute and thrive in a fast-paced environment and startup culture; strong decision-maker with the ability to reorient teams and drive execution cross-functionally when priorities change or are ambiguous

  • Hands on with content, creative, events and managing outside suppliers and agencies as required

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills; a natural storyteller with a constant learning mentality who likes to execute on the tactics as much as setting the strategy

  • Intrinsic drive to roll-up your sleeves and get things done; a self-starter

  • Research, Consulting solutions or SAAS business background preferred

  • HR Tech industry experience a plus

  • Proficiency in email marketing automation, Salesforce campaigns, Zoom webinars and Google Sheets
