LabLynx, a leader in Laboratory Information Management Solutions, is seeking to add a talented WordPress PHP Developer who is dedicated to his craft, writes code that is proud of and can hit the ground running. We need you to write beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways.

Do you have expertise creating and implementing a wide variety of web-based solutions using PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL CSS and AJAX? Duties and Responsibilities:

• Hands-on development of dynamic database driven sites
• Develop and maintain websites and web-based solutions utilizing WordPress and similar technologies
• Participate in design and architecture of applications to meet business requirements
• Effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
• Provide documentation as required and participate in code reviews, planning sessions and routine status stand-ups
• Write clean, efficient and effective code

• 4+ years demonstrated development experience with hand coding advanced HTML5, CSS3, MySQL 5, and PHP
• In-depth MySQL “query tuning” ability
• Forensic skill level debugging PHP in a Linux environment.
• 3+ years as a WordPress developer with a solid understanding of the framework, coding best-practices, resources and community
• Expert-level WordPress Multisite deployment
• Expert-level WordPress “plugin” development
• Expert-level WordPress speed/performance optimization
• Proven experience developing high availability database driven applications
• Proven expertise with responsive design standards
• Expert-level HTML and CSS skills
• Ability to install and manage PHP / MySQL Installs
• Expert level of knowledge working with Linux
