What we expect from you?

• Take ownership of the end-to-end process – architecting, designing, writing clean, killer code, and delivering the next generation payment platform.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers to ensure seamless integration of UI with the application layer.
• Support the Risk & Operations, Customer support teams for any technical or application related requirements in providing a superior payment processing experience to PayGlocal customers.
• Extensive experience developing highly scalable, distributed applications, products and services in Java, Spring boot and AWS. Deep understanding of how distributed resilient software is built and deployed.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills.
• A desire to build products that solve complex technical problems for end users.
• Strong desire to work in an unstructured, fast moving start-up environment.
• Strong critical thinking & problem-solving skills, good interpersonal & communication skills, and a team orientation.
• Formal Computer Science education or equivalent experience
