The Database Developer (Offshore) role works alongside other members of Development and QA
team to develop, enhance and maintain the company’s solutions for the Finance and Retail
sectors. They will work in a small team and must be able to work well as part of a team and on
their own. The role is responsible for both problem solving and identifying and implementing
solutions. The role will also work closely with other Database Developers, Senior Developers
(Offshore) and Lead Developers (Offshore).

The responsibilities of the Database Developer (Offshore) role include:
 Performs Database Development in line with the Software Development Lifecycle.
 Performs Testing of software in line with the Software Development Lifecycle.
 Performs assessment and investigation of defects raised by other functions within the
business where necessary.
 Performs performance analysis as part of investigation of defects raised by other functions
within the business where necessary.
 Cross pollination of knowledge across the wider development team to ensure no developer
becomes a critical dependency for one or more project teams or the business in general.
 Being willing and able to travel to the UK office.
 Adhering to the defined policies, processes and regulations.
 Accurate time recording.
